UPTIME Maintenance Strategies – Monterrey, Mexico

This 2-day course presents a summary of the proven strategy for moving towards excellence in maintenance management, a key element in the life cycle management of physical assets.

“Uptime” comprises 10 inter-dependent processes and activities that work together in harmony to produce superior results. It delivers high availability, reliability, low-cost maintenance and it does it all safely. The underlying model of excellence is divided into three tiers – leadership, essentials and choosing excellence, but it does not demand a sequential or tiered approach to implementation. It is meant to be tailored, like a suit, to fit any organization based on its current performance and practices.

This COURSE will present aspects of maintenance that are often targeted for improvement and often on their own. Planning and scheduling, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, KPIs all deliver benefit but are limited if done in isolation. The COURSE will show how each can deliver improvements but also how they fall short. A more strategic approach is needed that involved integrating activities across those various areas. The COURSE presents that approach.


This COURSE will show the folly in many maintenance improvement methods and fads and how to get past those errors to truly deliver what companies want – more uptime on their physical assets at lower cost. It will present the Uptime model comprising 10 interdependent activities that work together to deliver superior results and describe not just what to do but how to implement it in any operation.
